Size guide

Which block am I?

Any block is for anyone. The labels describe the shape of the pattern, not who may buy it. If you usually find sleeves too long and shoulders too wide, the women’s block will fit better. If you find bodies too short, the men’s. If you like everything a little roomy, unisex.

How to measure yourself

• Chest. Around the fullest part, tape flat and not tight, breathing normally.
• Hip. Around the widest point, roughly 20 cm below the waist.
• Inseam. From the crotch seam of trousers you like to the hem. Ours are given the same way.
• The quick way. Lay a top you like flat, measure armpit to armpit, and match it to the “chest, flat” column of the block you are looking at.

Women’s block

Narrower shoulder, back hem 2–3 cm longer than the front, higher rise on the joggers. Used by the Oversized Hoodie, Boxy Hoodie, Dusty Rose set, Long-Body Sweatshirt, Oversized Tee, Waffle Top, Long-Sleeve Tee, Ribbed Roll-Neck and the women’s flannels.

The Oversized Hoodie and Dusty Rose Hoodie are cut two sizes wider than this table and 12 cm longer; the Long-Body Sweatshirt 20 cm longer. Buy your usual size in all of them.

Men’s block

Longer body, set-in sleeve, straighter through the hip. Used by the Loopback Crew, Relaxed Hoodie, Straight-Leg Jogger, Classic Tee, Henley Tee, Waffle Henley, the Flannel Overshirt, Buffalo Check Shirt and Grandad-Collar Shirt.

Unisex block

Between the two, and relaxed throughout. Used by the Sunday Crew, Everyday Hoodie, Heavyweight Hoodie, Sunday Jogger, Heavyweight Tee, Garment-Dyed Tee and Fine Roll-Neck.

Between sizes: down for the rib knits and the long-sleeve tee, up for the flannel shirts, usual size for everything else. The Fine Roll-Neck is a 12-gauge rib and fits two body sizes per garment size.

Beanies

One size. The Rib Beanie fits head circumferences from 54 to 61 cm with the cuff turned twice; the Soft Knit Beanie from 54 to 60 cm, worn back on the head.

On the line between two sock sizes, take the smaller: the rib stretches and a long sock bunches at the toe.
