Yarn-dyed, so the check is woven in rather than printed, and brushed on both sides until it feels like something you have owned for years. Relaxed through the body with a curved hem that covers the seat, a single chest pocket and corozo buttons. People wear it as a shirt, a light jacket and a nightshirt, often on the same day.
Double-brushed flannel sheds lint and pills lightly for the first three washes, then settles. It also creases less than poplin but more than jersey.
