Closer to the body than anything else here, because it is built to go under things. Combed cotton with 5% elastane so it recovers, a round neck that sits just below the collarbone, and sleeves long enough to show under a rolled flannel cuff.
The elastane is what makes it fit and also what limits its life: expect two to three years of weekly wear before the recovery goes. Hot drying shortens that.
